ugh...there's always some annoying animal character with a goofy stupid noise or voice that makes me feel embarrassed to be playing it

I've noticed that I haven't been able to stomach a lot of JRPG's lately because of either really annoying characters or really annoying animal characters.

...for them, not me.

I, for one, had a blast playing the demo. The action is very fluid, the story interesting and it's 60fps doesn't skip a beat.

Bear in mind, these are the same people who gave God Hand a 3/10, and that game is by far the best brawler I and everyone I know whose played it, has ever played

It's still just a review, and it's also still just a paid-off pre-order for me. So there.

...He kinda represents the real tipping point when Sony's Marketing department FINALLY pulled their heads out and started doing commercials that make sense.

This guy makes a good ad spokesperson. He's not annoying, a decent actor, can do humor without hamming it up, and best of all doesn't resort to puns.

Kevin Butler FTW.

....because I think I'm in 2007. This is an article about a PS3 install right?

3 years later and these install articles still pop up on here. Haven't grown up much have we?

I may still pick this up, but now that i've gotten a deeper look into the game, it seems like I would get fairly bored with it after a while.

But you never know, I won't scratch it off my list, but it's definitely dropping below Dante's Inferno and Heavy Rain.

All of these were on YouTube at one point...EA put a very quick stop to that

This game was literally the first time I've played my Wii in over 6 months.

An absolute blast from start to finish.

...too bad it couldn't have been longer. 2007 wants their flamebait back.

I've learned not to really read anything submitted by Bloodmask, because it's usually some fangirl flamebait.

He submits about 70% of the crap on this site, which means I don't spend as much time on here as I used to

that wasn't exactly constructive, but then again I don't really believe you read the whole thing, so yeah....I think that says a lot

...but considering my eternal love for that old classic Starflight, and seeing the closest thing to it's sequel in Mass Effect, something tells me the changes made will make me not like Mass effect 2.

Another red flag is the blind, rabid defense, which tells me that there REALLY are things wrong with the game, but everyone's giving it a pass without accepting criticism. And I know full well this writer went about it in a real d!ckhole fashion, but maybe he has some valid argumen...

Or you can go on any craigslist's electronics section and buy a massive tube TV for about $30.

At least that's how much tube tv's are going for in my area. here are usually a lot of 36" ones for $30-$40 bucks, they just weigh 200 lbs.

...The sky is still blue, to an extent.

And related to this story is the arrival of a new superhero, Captain Obvious. He seems to have no real superpowers, just a guy who goes around telling people things they likely already know.

Must be a tough job to sit at a Gamestop for a couple hours to observe the predictable outcome of a release like that, only to go home and write about it. Oh wait...we have a few things like that, they're called Facebook and Twitter.

....jabbing at Halo doesn't counteract the fail of this list, or many of the other franchises for that matter.

I'll agree that Rock Band/GH and DBZ are long in the tooth, but I can think of a lot of crappier franchises that deserve a list like this. Like Tony Hawk and Need for Speed.

And speaking of Need for Speed...does anyone else think the "racing game" genre should've just died a long time ago? I can't really think of how much the core aspect for raci...

I really loved Postal 2, and want Postal 3, but not if it's gonna be some half-assed PS3 port, because I'm not buying ANOTHER 360 or building a new PC just to play it.

And honestly the more I read Vince Desi in his interviews, the less I like him. He seems like an immature frat boy and they must've been really slacking in the dev department, considering up until a couple weeks ago the POSTAL website declared the game being released in 2008, lol.

IDK, I have my serio...

...because if it were up to him, EA's yearly lineup would consist of the next cookie-cutter iteration of Madden, and maybe an sports-related arcade type game.

EA's place on my shelf has grown quite a bit since they pulled their heads out of their asses and started releasing something that WASN'T Madden for a change.

I will agree that Spore was a total financial atrocity for EA, and a lot of their games haven't been doing a lot of revenue, but unfortunately that's how...

....Not necessarily because it's absolute flamebait, but as the writer admits, he was a PC gamer, and there were reasons for PC games to be installed.

It's a lot faster to access information reading it from the Hard Drive than it is to read it from a CD or DVD, not to mention repeatedly reading that information over time would generate a lot of wear and tear, hence the reason an overused Drive would burn out or just stop working.

And if he was a PC gamer, he of all p...

Motion control is an entirely different way to play games, and I can see it having a hard time appealing to those of us who have used normal controllers our whole gaming lives. Playing the wii as much as I did, I just see motion control having a limited dynamic when it comes to controlling on-screen characters and their movements.

It would be nice to have something like the Xbox out of the that m...

"Super-Mega-Horrible Disc Label Ruins Gamer's experiences for multiple lifetimes!!!!!!

Children are whisked away from it's view as women scream and men tremble and wet their pants over the knowledge that a much-anticipated game has a disc label that is just so revolting, so disturbing, that the White House has issued a national emergency over it's existence!!!

The Publishing company responsible for such an atrocious disc label has been shut down by the UN and ba...
